Gaming Crisis on YouTube

So, I’ve spent the last week seriously deciding whether or not I was going to start a YouTube channel. The platform itself is in serious decline, at least temporarily. (This is not to mention that YouTube has never been preferable.) I’ve spoken about their year of putting advertising before the livelihood of content creators in previous posts, but I know videos themselves are the future. With sites like Facebook, and even Amazon pushing video to the forefront, it’s definitely a skill I should learn – even as a fiction writer.

I was beginning to give the idea second thoughts, wondering if I was better off working on my fiction, until I opened a package today that took that put that option on the back burner.

It was the epizeuxis, the repetition of a word or phrase in immediate succession, for vehemence or emphasis, that gave away who’d sent it. But I want to thank “The Universe” for making me smile, and making up my mind for me. Guess it’s time to start writing those YouTube scripts.

My empty YouTube channel.
