Riding the tip of a needle, only a day and a half from April Fool’s Day – the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has announced that this year’s E3, both in person and digital, has been canceled.
If I was a cynic I’d say it was timed perfectly so a number of outlets, inundated with other news would wait until the 1st to announce it and be taken as an April Fool’s joke (and I am said cynic.) With this being the third year in a row with such an announcement – without even the digital event to remind consumers of it’s significance – I’m calling this E3’s death knell.
